I was struggling for a post today, I admit. I have had a bit of “meh” week – if you pardon the teenage colloquialism – and my creative juices feel like they have dried up and deserted me. I have only missed one day’s post since January last year and that was down to a misunderstanding between me and my WordPress draft box…but it’s a record that I don’t really want to give up on just because I’m feeling low and uncreative.
Thank God for the blog hop here at My Little Life!
1. What have you done recently that you are proud of?
I have got some items ready for selling in my Etsy shop. Here’s a couple of pics:
My three handmade notebooks
Details of the denim notebook
The reason I’m proud of these is because as I said in my intro, my creative juices seem to have dried up completely so far this year and it took me a huge effort to get cracking on these items. I am going to be putting them up on Etsy this weekend and
hopefully will definitely be making some more.
2. What is your favourite way to work out? Or if you don’t workout, what are you wanting to try?
My favourite way of getting exercise is cycling, by far. I enjoy rambling and walking in the hills but for sheer power and exhilaration it has to be a bike ride.
3. If you knew you best friend was cheating on spouse would you tell?
This is one of those situations that would depend entirely on the individuals involved. For example, what is the nature of their relationship? Is the cheating “justified”? Or, if not justified then at least understandable? Is it the woman or the man? Yes folks, it makes a difference as to whether I’d say something or not. Whether or not I would “tell”, depends on my relationship with them both, but generally, no I would not say anything to the other party. It is their business and it is for them to sort out.
4. If you could afford a live-in maid or nanny, would you have one?
Not a live-in one, no!!!! A maid or a cleaner would be nice, but she’d have to have set hours and go home each day.
5. Do you stress out about birthdays (specifically the age) or do you enjoy them?
We don’t tend to mark birthdays with any great fanfare in my family, so they are neither endured nor enjoyed especially.
And, a bonus question from Scott, that I wasn’t brave enough to put in as a regular question…answer at your own risk, or not at all! (Or something…)
Bonus: Lights off or on?
I shower with the lights on, but sleep with the lights off…but I don’t think that was what the question meant haha!!!!
