Powder Your Face With Sunshine

What a glorious day it has been today!! Here in the UK we have had gorgeous sunshine all day, and it has been a bank holiday which has meant lots of people have been out and about to enjoy it. It’s amazing just how much a little sunshine can transform feelings of dreariness and drabness and it’s with that sentiment that I thought I would share this song with you today.

It is a favourite of a close friend of mine’s and he loves to sing this when it is sunny. It is utterly apt for today and I hope you enjoy it too.

This version is sung by Evelyn Knight who had a huge hit with it in November 1948.
