  1. It’s true. Marriage isn’t easy and today it feels like folk can give up on it and start (and maybe fail) again.
    Some marriages should end early. Violence and mental cruelty can’t be tolerated.
    But most of us just need to work at it to create something that’s longstanding and worthwhile.


    1. I think the key is spotting what’s worth fixing, and when it’s worth cutting your losses. My personal feeling is that if the basics are there then most relationships can be fixed with a little effort. The trouble is the way we think today – nothing is worth the effort. Sad really.
