Quote For Today

You know how song lyrics get stuck in your head and you find yourself repeating them over and over? And worse, when the tune gets stuck in your ear and no matter what you do it won’t shift? Well I’ve got one to share with you that has been in my head for a few days. This particular line is from a song by Matt Redman, called “10,000 Reasons” and the bit that is stuck with me is so good I have got to share it with you here:

“Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me,

Let me be singing when the evening comes”

It is a beautiful lyric, poetic and full of hope that it has sustained me this week. Thank you Mr Redman.

If you want to see the song where this line lives here’s a link to a YouTube video of it. I think I might have shared it with you before, but it is worth a second look.
