Stumbled across this in Lower Largo, like you do. It’s a totem pole showing four faces of Robinson Crusoe.
He was a fictional character created by Jonathan Swift based on a real life local man, Alexander Selkirk who was an explorer.
Robinson Crusoe was created by Daniel Defoe not Jonathan Swift (You’re possibly confusing Robinson Crusoe with Gulliver’s Travels)
